Ferry Services in The Bahamas

Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) is served by multiple major international airlines with daily service to and from destinations all over the world.

From NAS, passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, hotel shuttle services, and buses.

Water transportation is quite common in the Bahamas but it's not available near the airport.

Passengers need to hire a taxi for around US$ 40.00 to get to the ferry port area of Nassau, the capital city of Bahamas, approximately 16 kilometers away from the airport.

Note: The official currency of the territory is the Bahamian dollar. The value of US$ and B$ is the same.

Bahamian currency is indicated by a dollar ($) sign or B$ to distinguish it from other dollar currencies.
